ESAT practice

Unseen ESAT questions, marked as you go

Timed mocks and topic drills built from unpublished ESAT questions, written for this platform by Lucas Rey. Every answer is marked on the server with its full worked solution, and your results are kept by topic, so you can see which ones are costing you marks and what to practise next.

A free account answers twenty questions, real ones, marked the same way. A pass opens the timed mocks, the topic drills, the review queue and the full statistics. Sign in below, or create a free account.

What happens to one question. You answer it. It is marked at once, with the worked solution, and if you chose a wrong option the mistake that option was written to catch is named. Your level in that topic updates at once. An idea you got wrong comes back as a fresh question one, three and seven days later, so it sticks. Your next step is chosen from all of it.ONE QUESTION, FROM THE MOMENT YOU ANSWER IT1You answer27 in 40 minutes, or tenin a drill2Marked at onceRight or wrong, with theworked solution3Your mistake namedEach wrong option catchesone error4Your level updatesAt once, in that topic5Missed ideas returnA fresh question 1, 3 and7 days laterYour next step is chosen from all of it: the topic, the timing and what you have not seen

Everything up to your level happens the moment you answer. Only the last step waits, on purpose: a new question on the same idea, days later, is what turns a correction into something you keep.

Where to go from here

Everything on this page is free and stays free. These are the things worth doing next.

One-to-one places are limited and taken by application, not by the hour. This site is independent of UAT-UK, which administers the ESAT, and of every university that uses it; nothing here is endorsed by them, and the official specification and past papers remain the final word.
